Departure Management Service
The end of the assignment is far from straight forward and can be one of the most stressful and difficult stages of a relocation; Neither your relocating employee or your HR department want to fall in to a potentially reputationally damaging situation where there are outstanding contractual or maintenance issues, costs and unclear liability, or disputes with the letting agent or landlord.
Remington Estates’ offers a “Departure Management Service” to ensure that procedures are adhered to and the appropriate support, skill and advice is made available to an Assignee about to be repatriated.
We assist assignee(s) with the termination of their lease agreement and all other contracts relating to housing – including, utility services, cable TV and internet cancellation, deposit recovery, etc.
We also coordinate all aspects of your move back to your country of origin – from the closure of bank accounts, to the redirection of postal mail. We ensure that all loose ends are tied up in a timely manner.
We manage the close down of utilities and lease termination, updating local authorities of the move, manage any tax and benefits that were provided and commence the relocation or repatriation process.
